Terms & Conditions

Natural High Guiding is the trading name of Natural High Guiding LLP.  By signing the booking form you will be entering into a legally binding contract with Natural High Guiding LLP (hereinafter called ‘we’ or ‘us’ or ‘NHG’) of The Old Meal Mill, Tomich, By Beauly, IV4 7LY, registered in Scotland as LLP No. SO300327.  Acceptance of these Terms & Conditions is implied when a booking is made and this constitutes the termination of our liabilities.  This agreement is subject to interpretation and enforcement according to Scottish law in a Scottish court.

Any information provided by NHG is done so in good faith but without liability on the part of NHG.

Booking & Payment

To confirm your booking we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the trip cost to be sent along with your signed booking form.  If booking within 6 weeks of start date full payment is required together with your signed booking form.  Upon receipt of your deposit NHG will process your confirmation letter and send it to you with your final invoice.  This must be paid 6 weeks prior to start date.

Payments are accepted by cheque made payable to ‘Natural High Guiding’ or by bank transfer (call the office for details).

Cancellation

Should you wish to cancel your activity, you should inform NHG in writing.  The full balance of your holiday is due if written cancellation is received within less than 6 weeks of the start date.  Your deposit remains non-refundable.

NHG reserves the right to cancel an activity under any circumstances in which case a full refund will be made by NHG to you.  Activities will not be cancelled less than 6 weeks prior to start date except for reasons of ‘force majeur’, ie unusual or unforeseeable circumstances, war, civil or political unrest, adverse weather, strikes, natural disasters or other such circumstances.

Insurance

You must be covered by adequate insurance to take part in any of the activities.
Baggage and personal effects are at all times at the client’s risk.  You should take out holiday insurance to cover the nature of your chosen activity, cancellation, personal accident and illness, repatriation, emergency evacuation and loss of possessions.  Details of suitable policies can be supplied.

Medical conditions

You must let us know at the time of booking if you suffer from any important or relevant medical condition.  This must be noted on your booking form.

Prices

We reserve the right to amend our prices at any time before entering into a contract with you.

Flexibility

Your booking is accepted under the condition that you realise the dangers involved in the walking or mountain biking activity that you are undertaking and that you come at your own risk.  NHG will accept no responsibility for any damage, loss or injury incurred.  Clients must agree, in the interests of safety, to abide by the decisions of the group leader, who represents NHG.  A degree of flexibility is required particularly in remote and mountainous areas when for whatever reason, the group leader must change the trip’s itinerary.  You must ensure that your level of fitness is appropriate for the chosen trip.  If in the opinion of the group leader your fitness, equipment or behaviour compromises the safety of you, the group, the leader or any member of the public, we reserve the right to cancel your holiday with no liability on our part.   No refund will be offered in these circumstances.

Start Point

NHG’s responsibility does not commence until you are at the designated meeting point.  If you fail to arrive at the appointed time, we will not be held responsible for any expenses incurred by you in re-joining the group.

Bikes

If you are brining your own mountain bike you should ensure that they are well maintained and insured.  NHG will take all reasonable care when transporting bikes. However we will not be held financially responsible for any damage caused during the trip or in transit to the start point of your activity.

Complaints

If at any time you have any complaints regarding your chosen activity or trip these should be made known to the group leader who try to take the appropriate action.  If at the end of your tour you are still not satisfied and feel that your issue was not dealt with appropriately you should notify us of your complaint in writing within 7 days of completing your holiday.

These terms and conditions can only be waived by a Partner of NHG in writing.
