17th - 22nd October 2014

Welcome to Outta Affric - Glen Affric Autumn Festival.

When autumn arrives in Glen Affric, it does so with a riot of colour, presenting this special reserve in a cloak of autumnal glory. Autumn in Glen Affric provides unique opportunities and with OuttaAffric you have the chance to experience and capture them all in a range of activities.

Highlights for 2014 include High Level Munros and Corbetts; Autumn Colours Photography Walk; RSPB Affric Watch with a Stalker's Walk and Black Grouse Safari and with the Forestry Commission exploring fungi & squirrels - ideal for wee ones; Canadian Canoe Adventure; Night Sky Gazing; a Film Night and evening talk.

With Affric Watch we tempt you to experience the roar of the stags and the excitement of their rut, or to be captivated by the amazing displays and colours of the rare black grouse all on the local RSPB Reserve at Corrimony.

Walkers will be able either to master the glen's majestic Munro tops, or take in the delights of the lower levels at a more sedate pace with the Forestry Commission ranger. Amateur photogrpahers will love our photography walk aimed at both 'point and shooters' to DLSR junkies. We even entice you to experience the fall Canadian style from a canoe. Round your evening off with our film show, evening talk or take a tour of the OuttaAffric 'art' show on display in local hostelleries.

All our walks are led by experts in their field, whose job it is to ensure that you have a great day out, learning about the fantastic flora, fauna and scenery of Glen Affric.

We look forward to welcoming you to Outta Affric, so see you in October.
